· Efficiency
: Totem fireplaces heat by direct radiation of the fire through large vitro-ceramic screens and by convection by means of air
taken from the room which heats up by circulating behind the heat-proof bricks and in the lining. The convection air is then distributed
through four hot air vents. The heat-proof bricks regulate these heat exchanges over time. Combustion air has to be taken from outside and
brings in the oxygen required by the fire.
· Manufacture:
our fireplaces are made using special steels and are fitted with high-resistance heat-proof bricks (1350°). Doors are
entirely foldaway (they slide up vertically to disappear into the hood) and open sideways for maintenance of the vitro-ceramic screen). The
smoke vent is controlled by a damper for regulating draw (Ø of connection from 20 to 30 cm). The easily removable ash tray is covered with
a cast-iron grill with adjustment for input of combustion air.
· Fittings:
all our fireplaces, except ECO versions, are fitted with the following equipment as standard: heat collector with 4 hot air vents, smoke
box, damper control lever invisible on the front and lower fender to connect to masonry.
· EC certificate:
all our fireplaces are certified to standard NF EN 13-229. Tests performed by independent laboratories (CETIAT and CTIF) are
carried out in optimal fireplace operating conditions and using NF standard firewood for heating.
· Warranty: 5 years, excluding vitro-ceramics and bricks.
